Asphalt Creep and Tensile Extensometer 3910

Edit Content

1. Introduction:
Designed for testing samples of asphalt concrete core with a diameter of 100 and 150 mm. These extensometers are used for creep compliance testing, tensile strength testing and dynamic modulus testing.
The extensometers are single integral biaxial extensometers. They can measure both lateral and vertical deformations. They are quickly attached to the measuring points attached according to the needs of the test. Compared to other types, they provide faster and easier installation.
Typically, two blocks are required with one extensometer mounted on each side of the test piece. The extensometer is equipped with magnets at all ends. These magnets are quickly fixed on steel templates glued to the specimen. The quick clamp is especially useful when testing preheated or chilled specimens. This is because extensometers can be installed before significant temperature changes occur in the sample.
Model 3910 extensometers are strain gauge devices, making them compatible with any electronics designed for strain gauge transducers.
