1. Introduction:
The clamp is universal, used for testing specimens made of plastics, paper, textiles, aluminium, brass, metal foil and other materials with a tensile force of up to 5 kN.
The specimens are clamped manually using a screw or a lever.
Clamping jaw surface options:
smooth (G);
with rubber coating 1mm (P);
serrated pyramidal (Z);
v-shaped, v-shaped corrugated (V, V1);
wavy (B) for elastic specimens.
Clamping jaws are provided, consisting of a base and replaceable inserts – liners (B):
smooth (SH);
with rubber coating (VR);
jagged pyramidal (VZ).
